DJK/VfL Giesenkirchen

After his time in Beeck René played one year in Lich Steinstraß (Verbandsliga). After he had moved from Aachen to Mönchengladbach, he did not want to drive that far. That's why he was looking for a new club in Mönchengladbach and joined the DJK / VfL Giesenkirchen on. The season here was mixed. After the start was a little on bumpy, they then managed just before the end of the second half but the leap to the top spot, but just then the coach was suspended. So many players, René too, left the club after this season.
