Much ado about nothing (2013, Mr. Buchholz, Mr. Welters)

Shakespeare goes to the university in 2014 .

" Much Ado About Nothing " is one of the most famous comedies of William Shakespeare. The love story between the unequal pairs Hero and Claudio and Beatrice and Benedict still is of interest today - so the literature course of Q1 of the "Gymnasium an der Gartenstrasse" 2014  decided independently to a revision of the approved substance . However, a little different:

01Plakat1zweiteBesetzungClaudio (Lena woodcutter / Lucas Theelen ) , Hero ( Thien Minh Thuong Huynh / Yesim Özcelik ) , Benedict ( Mert Kekili ) and Beatrice ( Catherine Schroeder / Neringa Venclovaite ) belong to a loose group of students, but the most of their time they spend in the bar of hero father Leonato (Thomas Nauck ). And as life goes , the shy Claudio falls in love for the medical student Hero. But without help from his friends Benedict and Don Pedro ( Irem Altun ) nothing works here. Benedict himself does not think much of relationships that last longer than one night, especially not with the bitchy cousin of Hero, Beatrice. And certainly nothing will also change. Or is it? And what about Don Juan ( Kummerow Arne ), the brother of Don Pedro, who also has cast an eye on Hero ?

Supported by the school band and the choir of the Literature Course  different soloists ( Pouya Elahi , Johanna Schafmeister , Lina scratch , Mert Kekili and Neringa Venclovaite ) convey insight into student life today by contemporary music . Rather, the music is a fundamental part of the story. Just " Much Ado About Nothing . - As always , but different ".
